Canal Village Farmers’ Market 2016!

This year’s Canal Village Farmers’ Market promises to be bigger and better than last year!

2015 was the market’s inaugural year, attracting an average of 500 visitors every Saturday morning along with countless farm-fresh items and vendors! Market manager Gail Miller is working hard to bring even more products to market this season, including dairy and maple products!  Look for opening day in June… maybe a teaser opening in late May!!!

GCC Administrators and Staff Tour Bent’s Opera House

Tuesday, June 30, administration and staff from the Medina and Albion GCC Campus Centers met and toured Bent’s Opera House.  The tour was conducted by ORG President, Chris Busch.

James Simon, Dean of the Medina Campus said, “We wanted to thank you for your incredibly informative tour of Bent’s Hall yesterday. What a magnificent edifice! Your encyclopedic knowledge of the who’s who of Bent’s Hall as well as the greater Medina area was enlightening, ‘electrifying’, occasionally scary J, but all-the-while refreshing. We truly appreciate you taking time out of your day!

We look forward to working with the Orleans Renaissance Group as a stalwart community partner going forward.”

ORG is grateful for the continued support of GCC and also looks forward to collaborating in the future!
