Board of Directors
The Orleans Renaissance Group, Inc. is governed by a five-member Board Of Directors who meet regularly on a monthly basis. They are:
Christopher M. Busch – President - Mr. Busch is a graduate of SUNY Colleges at Buffalo and Brockport with degrees in History, Secondary Education and Educational Administration. He has served on many community boards, committees and initiatives. Mr. Busch is past President and Vice-President of the Medina Central School District Board of Education. Currently, he chairs the Village of Medina Municipal Planning Board, Architectural and Historic Review Board and the Municipal Tree Board. As a member of various municipal boards, Mr. Busch has authored or contributed authorship to local laws governing preservation, land use, design standards and urban forestry. He is a founding member of the Orleans Renaissance Group, Inc. and also chairs its Events Committee.
Andrew W. Meier, Esq. - Mr. Meier graduated magna cum laude in political science from the University of Rochester in 2001 and cum laude from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2004. He was the deputy mayor of Medina and has been the Village mayor since 2011. He is president of the Medina Lions Club, a member of the local Red Cross board of directors, and a member of the Genesee Arts Council. He is currently a law partner in the Medina firm of Webster, Schubel and Meier. Meier is also active in the field of preservation having rehabilitated and repurposed one of Medina’s prized historic structures– the 1875 Hart House Hotel and former Robert H. Newell Shirt Company. The structure today houses a law office, boutique hotel, loft apartments, meadery, upscale coffee café and outdoor music venue.
Bruce W. Krenning - Mr. Krenning is a graduate of Cornell University. He is retired from the agriculture industry having owned and operated a agricultural operation in the Albion, New York area for many years. Mr. Krenning has served the community on many boards Including the Lyndonville Central School District Board of Education. Mr. Krenning has been a Director of American National Property & Casualty Holdings, Inc. since April 1999. He has also been a Director of Farm Family Casualty Insurance Company, Farm Family Life Insurance Company and United Farm Family Insurance Company since April 1999. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Medina Memorial Healthcare System/Orleans Community Health.
Cynthia A. Robinson - Mrs. Robinson attended Villa Maria College in Buffalo, New York where she studied Retail Management. She is very active in the community and Medina region and has served on many community boards, committees and initiatives. She currently chairs numerous high-profile community events and is an integral contributor to Medina’s burgeoning tourism industry. Mrs. Robinson is a member of the Orleans County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is President of the Medina Business Association. She also owns two historic buildings in Medina’s Downtown Historic District, both of which have been rehabilitated– one of which houses her business– the English Rose Tea Shoppe.
Thomas Hungerford - Born and raised in Medina, NY, Mr. Hungerford is a 2005 graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and a 2010 graduate of Emory University with a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance & Entrepreneurship. Mr. Hungerford is Vice President of Business Development at Takeform, Medina, NY and is the Chairman of the ORG Capital Campaign Steering Committee.
Kyle Zunner, ORG Financial Administrator - Kyle is a graduate of the State University of New York, College at Brockport with a degree in Financial Management. From 2009-2012, Kyle served in the United States Navy. Upon returning to the Medina area, he was employed as the bookkeeper for the Shirt Factory Café and later became the Project Manager/Owner of Boiler 54- a widely-known seasonal bar and live music venue in Medina. Currently, Mr. Zunner is employed with Thompkins Bank of Castile in addition to overseeing the financial management of ORG.
